CHOOSE A PROGRAM FOR YOUR CHILD
Each program is designed by teachers and methodologists. We consider how children aged 7–8 best absorb information and stay focused. We structure learning so your child can choose their instrument, practice a lot, and take first steps toward performing — while a strong theory foundation helps them understand music and progress faster.
How group classes work
Group classes are available only with a 4-class membership.
Making music in a group is pure energy and real connection. The teacher is connected to every instrument and supports each student at the right moment.
Hands on the keys from the first minute. We build technique, two-hand coordination, reading (treble & bass), rhythm, and ear-playing—so your child understands the music and plays with confidence.
An anatomy-based approach that strengthens voice and breathing safely. Improves diction, свобода звучания, and emotional expression—supporting both body and confidence.
We make theory practical: reading, rhythm, intervals, chords, and key/mode logic — plus ear training so students can recognize and reproduce what they hear.

Mariia Golovina
PianoMusic TheoryBandVocal & Stage
Mariia is a pianist and teacher with a strong classical foundation and professional jazz education. She blends classical and modern approaches and works with European and Russian standards of music education.
«As a kid, I used to go wild to Elvis Presley, and one day I firmly decided I wanted to be a rock star. If UNIKI had existed back then, maybe I would have become one. But I went to music school, then to a music college, where I studied classical piano.
My dreams of the rock stage wouldn’t let me go, so I decided to continue my education in jazz. That’s how I became a jazz pianist, graduating from the Maimonides Academy in Moscow in 2022.
While studying, I started giving private music lessons to children and adults and unexpectedly discovered a talent for mentoring and teaching. Over time, I realized my true calling isn’t to be a rock star (though who knows), but to light up new musical stars.
My teaching is built on empathy, attention to each student, and the belief that learning music can and should be interesting and fun. I use modern approaches to developing rhythm, слух, and musical thinking, guided by European and Russian teaching standards.»
Vladislav is a pianist, international competition laureate, and teacher with a strong academic background. His path combines big-stage experience, rigorous training, and work with motivated students of different ages. In lessons, Vladislav helps students build a solid foundation, gain confidence, and see real results after every class.
«I love watching how something grows over time—like a plant that responds to care with patience and quiet improvement. Like the body and spirit in sports, where discipline turns effort into confidence and strength. In my work, I take a highly rational approach: I gather knowledge, systematize it, and pass it on in a way that keeps the process engaging and inspiring. When there is interest and direction, results never take long. I can also boast a truly inexhaustible supply of patience and the ability to bring work to a result.»
Thomas Shurkus is a drummer and teacher with 15 years of experience. In 2016, he graduated from the Jazz Department at the University of Edinburgh.
«My name is Thomas. I’ve been behind a drum kit for as long as I can remember. It’s important to me to show my students that you don’t need inborn talent to learn this instrument — you need the right approach and practice. My lessons are interactive, and in a playful format they can teach literally anyone to play.
We build a wide range of skills, so what a student learns easily transfers into other areas — from writing original music and creating accompaniment to confident work in sequencers, which can become a professional start for a future DJ career. In my approach, I erase everything connected to stiffness and fear of improvising — and a drummer charged with positivity is already half the success of a future band.»
Nastasya graduated from the pop-jazz department of the Tchaikovsky Music College, studied with Ever Jazz club residents, and performed with them on the same stage.
Her teaching is based on EVT (Estill Voice Training) — a science-based, anatomy-focused approach that helps you control your voice consciously and freely in any genre. Her students sing everything from opera to heavy rock, release their own songs, and perform live.
«My name is Nastasya. I was born into a family of folk vocal teachers. At age two, I stepped on stage for the first time — and I haven’t left it since.
The voice is a unique instrument, and I’ve studied it inside and out. My students help me a lot in this exploration. For more than eight years, I’ve been hearing and working with different timbres and vocal habits. And working with children’s voices shows just how much progress is possible when you understand how vocal structures change as you grow.
I also love working on original songs, and with ensembles and choirs. There’s a special joy when students build incredible harmonic weavings and carry the melody forward. The more people — the bigger the feeling of unity through sound.
Is JUNIOR suitable if my child has never studied music before?
Yes! JUNIOR is made for starting music and stage skills from scratch. We begin with core knowledge and skills through play and hands-on practice, so learning becomes engaging and inspiring. Step by step, your child gains confidence at the instrument or at the microphone. Every three months, you can see the result on stage at a UNIKI family concert.
What’s better: private lessons or group classes?
We always start from your goals. Both formats are strong—they just solve different tasks.
Private lessons are best when there’s a clear goal and a deadline—for example, preparing for a concert or competition, quickly improving technique, or working at a more intensive pace. Here, the teacher’s full attention is on your child.
Group classes are a format we designed at UNIKI for learning as a team. In a group, your child:
learns faster by seeing others’ discoveries and mistakes
develops teamwork, sense of rhythm, and the ability to “hear others,” making music feel alive
gets motivation and healthy competition with peers
gradually gets used to performing — mini-performances feel easier and confidence grows
Many parents combine both formats.
We’ll be happy to suggest what fits your case—just message or call us!
How are your classes different from a traditional music school?
At UNIKI, your child grows 360°. Not just learning to play, but building ear training, rhythm, technique, musical thinking, and confidence. We’ve already created strong discipline combinations and know how to connect practice with a solid theory foundation — so music feels alive, clear, and joyful. Plus, our team of working teachers from different countries knows how to guide a child from first steps to confident control of both the instrument and themselves.
How do concerts work, and is performing required?
Concerts are a regular chance to show results and feel proud. We prepare children gradually, through clear mini-steps, so performing becomes a positive experience. We highly recommend taking part — stage time builds confidence fast. At the same time, we always choose the format based on your child’s readiness and carefully consider your wishes as a parent.
Can we combine several disciplines?
Yes — and that’s one of UNIKI’s strengths. We choose combinations that reinforce each other, so your child develops broadly and consciously.
Will my child cope if they’re shy?
Yes — we’ll bring both experience and psychology skills. Shyness often fades when a child enters a safe environment where they can and want to express themselves. We build stage courage through small steps, support, and clear tasks, so confidence grows naturally.

How group classes work at UNIKI
Full control of sound and focus
The teacher hears everyone at the same time, switches freely between instruments, and manages the class sound through a unified audio system. Electronic instruments run through headphones, while acoustic instruments keep their live sound.
This makes it possible to adjust technique and keep the lesson moving continuously—without pauses or losing the group’s overall rhythm.
The group effect: healthy competition
In a group, something appears that’s hard to achieve alone—healthy competition.
It’s not a race or comparison, but an inner push: when you’re surrounded by strong, motivated students, the pace naturally grows and progress accelerates for everyone.
A clear goal and team dynamics
Each class is built around a clear shared goal—from working on a section of a piece to preparing for a performance. Students learn to hear the overall sound, work as a team, and move forward together.
The team inspires, healthy competition speeds things up, and the goal sets direction. That’s how a real musician’s mindset is formed—not as a solo player, but as part of a living sound.
Everything is ready for class
All instruments are provided. Keys, guitars, drum kits, headphones—everything is set up and waiting in the classroom.
