CHOOSE A PROGRAM
FOR YOUR CHILD

Each program is designed by teachers and methodologists. We consider how children aged 7–8 best absorb information and stay focused. We structure learning so your child can choose their instrument, practice a lot, and take first steps toward performing — while a strong theory foundation helps them understand music and progress faster.

Mariia Golovina
Piano Music Theory Band Vocal & Stage

Mariia is a pianist and teacher with a strong classical foundation and professional jazz education. She blends classical and modern approaches and works with European and Russian standards of music education.

«As a kid, I used to go wild to Elvis Presley, and one day I firmly decided I wanted to be a rock star. If UNIKI had existed back then, maybe I would have become one. But I went to music school, then to a music college, where I studied classical piano.

My dreams of the rock stage wouldn’t let me go, so I decided to continue my education in jazz. That’s how I became a jazz pianist, graduating from the Maimonides Academy in Moscow in 2022.

While studying, I started giving private music lessons to children and adults and unexpectedly discovered a talent for mentoring and teaching. Over time, I realized my true calling isn’t to be a rock star (though who knows), but to light up new musical stars.

My teaching is built on empathy, attention to each student, and the belief that learning music can and should be interesting and fun. I use modern approaches to developing rhythm, слух, and musical thinking, guided by European and Russian teaching standards.»

Vladislav Ostroverkhov
Piano Music Theory Vocal & Stage Vocal & Sound

Vladislav is a pianist, international competition laureate, and teacher with a strong academic background. His path combines big-stage experience, rigorous training, and work with motivated students of different ages. In lessons, Vladislav helps students build a solid foundation, gain confidence, and see real results after every class.

«I love watching how something grows over time—like a plant that responds to care with patience and quiet improvement. Like the body and spirit in sports, where discipline turns effort into confidence and strength. In my work, I take a highly rational approach: I gather knowledge, systematize it, and pass it on in a way that keeps the process engaging and inspiring. When there is interest and direction, results never take long. I can also boast a truly inexhaustible supply of patience and the ability to bring work to a result.»

Thomas Shurkus
Drums Music Theory

Thomas Shurkus is a drummer and teacher with 15 years of experience. In 2016, he graduated from the Jazz Department at the University of Edinburgh.

«My name is Thomas. I’ve been behind a drum kit for as long as I can remember. It’s important to me to show my students that you don’t need inborn talent to learn this instrument — you need the right approach and practice. My lessons are interactive, and in a playful format they can teach literally anyone to play.

We build a wide range of skills, so what a student learns easily transfers into other areas — from writing original music and creating accompaniment to confident work in sequencers, which can become a professional start for a future DJ career. In my approach, I erase everything connected to stiffness and fear of improvising — and a drummer charged with positivity is already half the success of a future band.»

Nastasya Matveeva
Vocal Vocal & Stage Vocal & Sound Vocal Band

Nastasya graduated from the pop-jazz department of the Tchaikovsky Music College, studied with Ever Jazz club residents, and performed with them on the same stage.

Her teaching is based on EVT (Estill Voice Training) — a science-based, anatomy-focused approach that helps you control your voice consciously and freely in any genre. Her students sing everything from opera to heavy rock, release their own songs, and perform live.

«My name is Nastasya. I was born into a family of folk vocal teachers. At age two, I stepped on stage for the first time — and I haven’t left it since.

The voice is a unique instrument, and I’ve studied it inside and out. My students help me a lot in this exploration. For more than eight years, I’ve been hearing and working with different timbres and vocal habits. And working with children’s voices shows just how much progress is possible when you understand how vocal structures change as you grow.

I also love working on original songs, and with ensembles and choirs. There’s a special joy when students build incredible harmonic weavings and carry the melody forward. The more people — the bigger the feeling of unity through sound.

I truly believe anyone can learn to sing!»
